This is a oil on canvas piece I painted with a pallet knife, on a canvas panel, using only 2 colors, Titanium White and Prussian Blue. You can feel and see the texture of the clouds in the sky, and the waves in the sea. You can almost feel the salted sea breeze.

Hello! I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Lisa (Li) White. I’m a 49 year old mother of 3 grown children. I’ve discovered how art can be used to heal, express feelings, invoke emotions, and change your perspective on the life going on around you. I have always dreamed of being able to try painting some day. I enjoyed sketching in my teen years, but life gets busy, and until a couple of months ago it stayed on my “some day” list.
