Artist's Description
This is a painting done from a photograph I took on the beach at Ludington State park. This is 1 of 2 lighthouses located in Ludington, Michigan. I tried to get it as realistic as possible. You can see the calm waves washing up black iron ore on to the sandy beach from a ship wreck in the area. You only get this view if you walk the beach out instead of the park trails. It’s worth every step for the view.
