Description
This is a second painting of the Sable Lighthouse in Ludington, Michigan. This is what the view is as you walk the long way down the shore of the lake. The black silt of the beach is washed up from shipwrecks of long ago and the iron ore they carried. You can see the lake is calm with the gentle, tiny waves rolling on to shore. You can almost hear the beach grass as it stays in the gentle wind. The beautiful summer day, and stunning nature that this area holds is calming, and exciting at the same time. The painting shows how peaceful even the mighty waters of Lake Michigan can be.
