This photograph was taken on a lake in Northwest Michigan where my grandmother lives. This was such a calm and serene morning. I remember grabbing my coffee to go watch the sun come over the lake when I saw this. I just had to get this shot before I could enjoy my coffee while watching the fog leave.

I’ve discovered how art can be used to heal, express feelings, invoke emotions, and change your perspective on the life going on around you.
